Facilities
The B&M Optik Group has four European facilities for its customers. In total, 140 employees give their best every day to ensure that all customer requirements are met in full.
The corporate headquarters are in Limburg an der Lahn. Limburg is home to the management, quality assurance, marketing, sales, development, project management, purchasing, logistics, and our global central warehouse.
The two manufacturing facilities in Pirna and Zaczernie are organized independently and in addition to production, each also have a local factory manager, engineering, production control, quality assurance and logistics.
Zaczernie - plant for round optics
In our production area in Zaczernie, located in the southeast of Poland and about 10 km away from Rzeszów, we manufacture daily with approx. 60 employees round optics by using all optical glasses. In addition to ground and polished lenses, our product portfolio also includes our aspherical LED optics, which are pressed in our factory in Stonebroom/England and then they get finished in Zaczernie.
Pirna – plant for plano optics
In our production area in Pirna, 20 km away from Dresden our approx. 35 employees producing plano optics such as windows, filters, and laser protection windows. But also prisms, beam splitters and wedges by using all optical glasses. On request also a special coating of the surface is possible.
Bluebell Industries in Stonebroom - Moulded Optics Plant
At our Bluebell Industries Limited facility in Stonebroom, near Chesterfield in central England, we manufacture technical glass mouldings such as aspheric, spherical lenses, domes, prisms, windows, sight glasses, level sensors and many more. Mouldings are pressed from glass rods or gobs in various glass types.
