Effective January 1, 2021, Thomas Scheu was appointed as Deputy to the Managing Director of B&M Optik GmbH.
Together with Mr. Alois Baldus, who incorporated the business in 1991, Mr. Scheu will form a dual management team in the 30th year of B&M Optik GmbH’s history to lead the innovative company into the future. Mr. Baldus, who progressively manages the company’s affairs with an eye towards innovation, will continue to serve the company as its owner-operator by contributing his deeply rooted know-how and extensive experience in the optics sector. The company’s management is now bolstered by Mr. Scheu as a consummate professional, who brings with him more than 30 years of professional experience in various managerial roles from a wide range of functions and responsibilities from four globally active companies.
This realignment sets the stage for the company’s continuity, development, and continued growth.
